God will provide for us, just as easily as He provides for the birds of the air.
Matthew 6:26-27 says: “Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns—and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan?”
And yet, we worry. But all the while, Jesus is whispering:
“Look at the birds of the air. Look at how I feed them. Have you ever noticed how fat they are? How shining and beautiful their feathers? How free and easy their flights? Have you ever noticed how quickly they find shelter in storms, or how easily they ride on the wind? Have you noticed how songs of praise pour from their mouths every morning and every evening, and even during rainy days? You can live in that same freedom and joy. If you will just trust Me to provide for you.”
